60th Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) &
21st Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI)

JOTA JOTI is the largest Scouting event in the world. In 2014 over 1.3 million Scouts participated across 157 countries. The purpose of JOTA JOTI is to enable and encourage Scouts around the world to communicate with one another by means of amateur radio and the internet, providing a fun and educational Scouting experience and promoting their sense of belonging to a worldwide Scout Movement.

The Ashmore Scout Group is proud to host the Jamboree on the Air & Jamboree on the Internet, in partnership with local amateur radio operators. The Group provides both fixed computers and wireless capabilities, enabling up to twenty users to be on-line at once.

We extend an invitation to all Scout Groups and Girl Guide Groups within the Gold Coast Region, for their youth members and Leaders to attend at our Den, ready to talk to the world!
